Tokyo Future University, established in April, 2007, is one of the newest schools in Japan. It is a small University and has the capacity to accommodate 800 students, 200 in each grade.

It is a unique University in Japan where we only have a Department of Psychology and offer one major in Child Psychology and Childcare.
One of our educational principles is to focus on educating students to be a specialist in child education with a proficiency in Psychology. Our faculty members are selected specialists in this field of study and they all have experiences in education, research, and development

PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to create specialist in child education and early childhood because we believe that there is no other job more important than to raise the next generation. We also focus on the development of our students’ intellect and mind, for a specialist of child education needs both knowledge and maturity.

FIVE SPECIAL FEATURES

1.CampusAdviser（CA）System

Our University has a homeroom system. Each homeroom is under a faculty member and a CA. The CA mainly supports daily life issues and career advisement. Each student can ask any questions or ask for advise from his or her CA.

2.Small Classes

Many of our classes have less than 30 students. We keep the classroom small so that the teacher will be more accessible to the students and in turn the teachers can also keep in close communication with them We believe that this close relationship between the student and teacher helps to improve the student’s motivation.

3.Facilities

Our facilities are very modern. We supply the students with state of the equipments to study and become proficient in its use.

4.Specialist and Certification

Students can earn trade and professional certification in their field of study to support their future career. We have over three programs available like certification of Certified Psychologists, nursing school teacher, and kindergarten teacher..

5.Regular Course and Correspondance Course

Future University has two courses to choose from, regular and correspondence. In the regular course you come to the University to take classes, in this cases most students come straight from graduating high school.

The correspondence courses offer the same curriculum as the regular courses. The difference is that the students do not have to come to the university except for schooling classes. Exams are conducted by the e-learning system so that the students can take the test through the Internet.
